Professional Rental Studio in Stockholm, Sweden
The studio hall is a former train workshop for the tram line between Stockholm city and the island of Lidingö. Apart from the big entrance doors, the overhead crane and the large windows, there is today not much that resembles the earlier workshop. There has been a sweeping change from a worn out workshop to a blindingly white studio.
The studio has an impressive ceiling height along with the Stockholm-unique cyclorama background. In connection with the studio we have up to five reserved parking spaces and there is also a thai restaurant near by.
Ground-level & Crane
The studio is on ground-level and its entrance measures 3.8 m in width and 4.76 m in height.
It has an overhead crane on rails 5.2 m above the floor. The crane with its boardwalk and rails is well-suited to work from. It is also appropriate for hanging lights and textile backgrounds etc. and can be moved all over the studio, even the cyclorama.
Background & Green screen
175 sq m cyclorama background measuring 5.2 m in height, 10.25 m in width and 7.1 m in depth. The upper back of the background has a boardwalk.
The background is white as standard but can be painted as green screen or as wished and the floor can be painted further out if needed. As for the crane the edge of the background is appropriate for hanging textile or paper backgrounds.
Equipments & Catering
If equipment is needed, we recommend that you rent from Ljud & Bildmedia (+46 8 590 90 100) located near by.
In the same building as the studio, there is an excellent thai restaurant. Of course, we can order other types of food as well. Contact us and tell us what you need.
Light & Dark
The ceiling has four large windows covered with thick fabric and can be uncovered for brighter conditions or just a pleasant inlet of daylight. Uncovering will be offered.
Electricity & Fire alarm
The studio is equipped with three-phase power, 16 A, 32 A and 63 A. Each socket has a circuit of it’s own and can therefor be used parallelly.
A power distribution box is not included but is available for rent. The automatic fire alarm can be shut down when working with smoke, for an offered price.
Styling & Make up
The make-up has a large table, hangers, ironing board and iron, blowdryers, hair washbasin, hand and wall mirrors, black and white towels.
Reservation: 5 000 SEK/day
Full day rent: 5000 SEK. Prices exclude taxes.

By public transport:
Take the red subway route towards Ropsten. In Ropsten, switch to the tram towards Lidingö. Alight from the tram at AGA Station. The studio is located in the station building on the other side of the railway, in the old train workshop.

By car:
Drive across the bridge to Lidingö and continue along the route until you see the big shopping centre Willy:s on your left. By then you will also see a bus park on your right. Just after the bus park, on the same side of the road, there is a big station building where XL Rental Studios is located.
